    The AuSable Valley Grange Farmers' Markets are the only "producer-only" farmers' markets in the eastern Adirondacks. At "producer-only" markets, the vendors can sell only items that they or their employees produce. Vendors cannot buy in bulk and then proceed to resell to you.

  • Lake Placid Sinfonietta Concert: "America the Beautiful"

    Wednesday July 7 at 7 PM in the Lake Placid Center for the Arts (LPCA) theater The Lake Placid Sinfonietta starts it’s 2021 season with a free community music concert, “America the Beautiful.”. This opening concert featuring selections that are patriotic and familiar and will be held in the theater of the LPCA.     The Lake Placid Sinfonietta presents the first of the six Sunday Symphony concerts at 7:30PM at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts. “Masterpieces” will feature Haydn’s “Trumpet Concerto” with soloist Steven Franklin, and Mozart’s beloved Symphony No. 39.” Both in-person and live-streamed tickets are available to purchase.     Wednesday, July 14 at 7 PM in the Pavilion at the Lake Placid Horseshow Grounds This free community music concert titled “The Music that Makes Me Dance” will be marked by works with rhythm, swing and style. From the Can Can to the Jamaican Rhumba, your toes will be tapping the whole concert through! No tickets are required for in-person attendance; seating is first-come, first-served.
