The Lake Placid Ice Dance Championships is pleased to be part of US Figure Skating’s National Qualifying Series and Solo Dance Series. It is hosted by the NYS Olympic Regional Development Authority and sanctioned by US Figure Skating through the Skating Club of Lake Placid. The Lake Placid Ice Dance International is an international event on the ISU calendar.
The Lake Placid Ice Dance Championships is the oldest ice dance event in world.
Couples ice dance events are offered at all levels from pre-juvenile through senior. Juvenile through senior events are part of US Figure Skating’s National Qualifying Series. The international event will offer advanced novice, junior and senior levels. Solo dance events will be offered at all levels from preliminary through senior and are part of the US Figure Skating Solo Dance Series.
Competition will begin in the afternoon of Monday, July 28th.
