Saranac Lake ArtWorks Invites You to the 2026 Studio Tours


Dates: Saturday & Sunday, September 26-27, 10am-4pm
Location: Saranac Lake, NY and surrounding areas


Saranac Lake ArtWorks is thrilled to announce the return of Studio Tours, Saturday & Sunday September 26 & 27, 2026. This free, self-guided event offers art lovers, collectors, and curious minds a rare opportunity to step inside the creative spaces of local artists. From oil paintings and photography to woodwork, ceramics, fiber arts, and plein air landscapes, the Studio Tours showcase the talent of local artists in and around Saranac Lake.


Visitors will have the chance to meet artists in their home studios and gallery spaces, watch live demonstrations, see works in progress, and purchase original artwork directly from the creators while following a curated map of studio and gallery locations.

Featured galleries include the Adirondack Artists Guild, NorthWind Fine Arts, Cedar Street Studios, Side Quest Artist Collective, Step Mother Nature, Tupper Arts, Downtown Artist Cellar, and Gallery 46. Individual studios such as those of Sandra Hildreth, Diane Leifheit, Peter Shrope, David Woodward, Betty & Pat Hendrick, Stephen Horne, Martha Jackson, Mark Paul, and more!



The Studio Tours are also a wonderful reason to explore the Adirondacks during one of the most beautiful times of year. Visit your favorite artists while enjoying the stunning colors of the fall season. A map and artist directory are available at participating galleries and online at SaranacLakeArtWorks.org. Large, colorful Studio Tour signs will help guide visitors to studios in more remote locations. Please note that some studios may have modified hours.
