Summer Trades Camp in Saranac Lake

Join us this summer at the Adirondack Educational Center for our Summer Trades Camp in Saranac Lake.
Learn useful skills, make new friends, explore careers, and have fun, all in one week. This hands-on day camp challenges middle schoolers with project-based activities designed to spark curiosity in the trades.
Dates: August 3–7, 2026
Time: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Tuition: $125
Eligibility:
Open to students entering grades 6–9 in the 2026–27 school year from:
• Lake Placid CSD
• Long Lake CSD
• Raquette Lake UFS
• Saranac Lake CSD
• Tupper Lake CSD
• Homeschooled students residing in one of these districts
Campers will choose two trades to explore:
• Automotive Technology
• Building Trades
• Culinary Arts
• Security & Law Enforcement
